I was introduced to natural healing in 2002 while acting as a caregiver for my mother during her 11 year battle with cancer. Alternative medicine helped ease her symptoms, and I personally found it very beneficial for disease prevention and overall wellness. This led to my interest in pursuing a career in the field. In 2005, I graduated from the massage program at The American Institute of Alternative Medicine. While a student at AIAM I learned about the importance of using diet and nutrition as a healing modality. I then became certified as a Reiki Master and earned certifications in Thai Massage, Cupping and Gua Sha. After that I decided to pursue a Naturopathy degree from Trinity College of Natural Health, a Certificate in Nutritional Health, as well as Master Herbalist and Certified Health Specialist. I have always believed that most disease is a combination of emotional and physical well being. When I consult with patients, I work to balance the Mind/Body/Spirit. You cannot be healthy if just one of those three areas are in a state of imbalance.
In my spare time, I’m a wife and mother to 5 children. We love to travel, and frequent amusement parks. I also enjoy listening to music, as I believe it can heal the soul.
