When the I started thinking about the How We Recharge blog series, the first thing that came to mind was yoga. I’ve been practicing yoga for about 7 years. And believe me, it’s a work in progress.
I still can’t do inversions without a wall nearby, but every few weeks or so I surprise myself and get stronger and more grounded.
Yoga helps me get in the moment… and with a brain that won’t shut down, that’s saying a lot.
I enjoy yoga more outdoors. I often do yoga in the park when classes are offered. Just the other day, I decided to try stand up paddle boarding (SUP). Of course, I couldn’t leave the water until I got a few yoga poses captured. Talk about core strength! You have to balance on a board in the middle of the lake while getting into camel pose….the only one that looked decent on camera!
